Former President Hospitalized After Fainting
HOUSTON (AP) Former President George H.W. Bush has been released from a California hospital, after being admitted Sunday evening.
He was taken there after collapsing during an afternoon golf game in Palm Springs.
Bush's chief of staff says the former president fainted while playing golf with friends in 94-degree heat. She says Bush "became dehydrated," but that he regained consciousness "right away."
The spokeswoman says Bush is "fine." She says the 82-year-old is resuming his normal schedule.
