Minister Dies of Electrocution in Church
ROANOKE, Va. (AP) A minister in Roanoke, Virginia, has died after being electrocuted in his church.
Relatives of 31-year-old Vachaun Hash say the accident happened Sunday evening at Temple of the Way Out as Hash was helping set up for a New Year's Eve service.
Hash's brother-in-law, Dominic Austin, told The Roanoke Times that Hash plugged a cord from a new speaker into the church's organ, then said "Help me, Jesus," and slumped over.
Austin said one of Hash's brothers tried to revive him, to no avail.
The state medical examiner's office said Hash was electrocuted.
