Muslim Civil Rights Group Condemns Racism
LOS ANGELES (AP) A Muslim civil rights group is condemning racist harassment directed at a Jewish worshipers in Riverside, Calif. The Los Angeles office of CAIR -- the Council of American-Islamic Relations -- says it will join an Oct. 24 counter-protest to a neo-Nazi rally. CAIR-LA executive director Hussam Ayloush says Muslim community leaders also plan to visit Temple Beth El in Riverside. According to media reports, worshipers there have been recently harassed by neo-Nazis who displayed flags with swastikas.
